Grant Description

The main goal of this proposal is to implement a one-day career awareness program open to educators of Minnesota junior high and high school students, who will soon be entering the workforce, to promote and educate about careers in regenerative medicine and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). By focusing our efforts on “educating the educators,” we greatly increase the range and number of students who subsequently spend time in the classrooms of these participating educators. The educators also build relationships with regenerative medicine staff, gaining confidence in the ability to tap into staff knowledge and expanding the reach beyond a simple one-day experience.
