Grant Description

The main goal of this proposal is to implement a pilot educational program for 12 Minnesota public school classrooms for students in 3rd-8th grades, including underrepresented schools. This proposal aims to educate and engage youth and minority youth in cutting edge science as well as providing new opportunities to inspire young minds and allow them to learn about careers in the field of science and engineering. We anticipate this pilot program will provide an unprecedented exposure for public school students to stem cell biology and regenerative medicine in hopes of inspiring the future generation of scientists and engineers from Minnesota.
