Grant Description
CAR-T cell therapy has become one of the most significant success stories in regenerative medicine over the past decade. However, its high cost limits its availability to many patients. These high costs are mainly due to the complex and labor-intensive methods currently used to produce CAR-T cells. Without innovative manufacturing solutions, these therapies will remain out of reach for most people. This project aims to adapt and integrate the CAR-T cell production process into a novel closed microfluidic system. If successful, this new method could significantly reduce costs, improve consistency, and make these life-saving therapies more widely accessible to patients around the world.
