The goal is to create a program that serves those who have served in the Uniformed Services by creating an educational program that will expose them to Regenerative Medicine. The training program will be modeled on the 'bootcamp' structure as a short, intense course. Successful graduates will be competitive for entry level biotechnology/regenerative medicine employment and/or undergraduate or graduate programs.

The goal primary goal of the IMPACT program is to increase the number of Minnesota undergraduate students who pursue biomedical careers within the field of regenerative medicine. This proposal aims to (1) Scale IMPACT to 40 undergraduate institutions across the state of MN, (2) Increase recruitment and retention of underrepresented IMPACT students, and (3) Provide a regenerative medicine education platform to MN students and faculty.
The goals of the Girls Explore STEM project are: foster girls’ enthusiasm for STEM related fields, increase student awareness of careers in regenerative medicine, manufacturing, engineering and other STEM careers in Minnesota, and lastly increase the number of female students from diverse populations’ learning about STEM related fields and careers.
Looming retirements and increasing needs in the health and human services workforce require new and innovative recruitment and outreach strategies. With the growing and increased need for healthcare workers, we identified SCRUBS camp as an opportunity to educate students on possible career options. Scrubs Camp is designed to provide opportunities for underrepresented middle and high school students within Central MN to explore healthcare and human services related careers.
