Restoring function to paralyzed limbs after spinal cord injury

Summary

Paralysis due to spinal cord injury is currently an untreatable condition. Current treatments include stabalizing the patient and then strengthening the muscles above the site of paralysis. Grahn's research seeks to restore function in paralyzed muscles through controlled spinal cord stimulation.
